This is a documentation subpage for Template:Fake heading. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |

This template is used to create examples of section heading wikimarkup in help and similar pages. A fake heading will not appear in the table of contents. They are styled as default, and will not be influenced by custom CSS.
Note that level 1 headings are only used for article titles in wikipedia, and should not be used within articles.
Parameters
|title=or an unnamed first parameter is used for the section title.|sub=is the level number: 2 through 6. The default is 2.|level=is the same as|sub=, and is kept for compatibility with the usage in the former Header template.
