History

All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody was established in 1977, during a period when the Catholic population in the Atlanta area was expanding significantly. The parish began as a mission church to serve the growing Catholic community in the Dunwoody area, which was part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Initially, masses were held in various temporary locations before the construction of the current church building. All Saints grew rapidly, reflecting the demographic expansion in the region, and has since become a central point for Catholic life in Dunwoody. The parish has been guided by numerous pastors, with one of the most notable being Monsignor Donald Kiernan, who served for 25 years until his retirement in 2011.[1][2]

The parish is known for its strong community involvement, educational programs, including a well-regarded preschool, and various ministries aimed at spiritual and social service.[1]
