Mother of God Byzantine-Ukrainian Catholic Church was dedicated in October 1998 to serve the Ukrainian immigrant community in the Atlanta region. The church was established under the leadership of Bishop John Bura, the apostolic administrator of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of St. Josaphat in Parma, Ohio. It has been a spiritual haven for approximately 200 members, with more than half having roots in Ukraine. The parish plays a crucial role in connecting Ukrainian Catholics to their cultural and spiritual heritage, offering services in both English and Ukrainian.
