Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church was founded in 1952 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to serve the increasing Catholic population in the area. The parish began as a mission of St. Benedict’s Church in Greensboro but soon became an independent parish due to the rapid growth of its congregation. Over the years, Our Lady of Mercy has expanded its facilities, including the construction of a parish school in 1958.
