Leidos, formerly known as Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC),[1] is an American defense, aviation, information technology (Lockheed Martin IS&GS), and biomedical research company headquartered in Reston, Virginia, that provides scientific, engineering, systems integration, and technical services. Leidos merged with Lockheed Martin's IT sector, Information Systems & Global Solutions, in August 2016 to create the defense industry’s largest IT services provider. The Leidos-Lockheed Martin merger is one of the biggest transactions thus far in the consolidation of a defense sector. Leidos works extensively with the United States Department of Defense, the United States Department of Homeland Security, and the United States Intelligence Community, including the NSA, as well as other U.S. government civil agencies and selected commercial markets.

Consolidated Nuclear Security
Consolidated Nuclear Security operates Pantex and Y-12 under the same contract. CNS combines the resources of Bechtel National, Inc., Leidos, Inc., Orbital ATK, Inc., SOC LLC, with Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. as a teaming subcontractor.[2][3]
National Energy Technology Laboratory
National Energy Technology Laboratory issued a RFP as an unrestricted full and open competition for Research Support Services (RSS). Anticipated work assignments for this service contract would support activities across all NETL sites, with primary on-site presence in Morgantown, WV, Pittsburgh, PA and Albany, OR, and include travel to other DOE locations. The resulting contract will be a cost-plus award-fee contract with a base performance period of three-years, two two-year option periods, and one three-year option period for a total of ten-year (10) total period of performance if all options are exercised.
Contract 89243318CFE000003 was awarded to Leidos Innovations Corporation in response to the Research Support Services (RSS) solicitation with an effective date of July 2018.
