Wastren EnergX Mission Support (WEMS) was created to perform Facility Support Services for the Office of Environmental Management at the US Department of Energy's (DOE) Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
The Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant is located in south central Ohio near the village of Piketon. It is approximately 75 miles south of Columbus and 22 miles north of the Ohio River. The 3,777-acre site is managed by the U.S. Department of Energy and operated by DOE contractors.
Contract
The original Facility Support Services contract began on March 16, 2010. WEMS' contract to perform the Portsmouth Facility Support Services (FSS) contract came to an end on 04/24/2016.
Portsmouth Mission Alliance, LLC (PMA) began to fulfill the Portsmouth Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) contract with the U.S. Department of Energy on 04/25/2016. Find out more about PMA at http://www.pma-iss.com/.
