The Hydrogen Americas Summit (HAS) is a yearly conference which convened representatives from government and industry across the Americas and abroad to share insights from evolving policies and programs and identify opportunities for collaboration to drive the region’s hydrogen industry forward.
The summit is co-hosted by Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) and Sustainable Energy Council.
Summits
2022
On October 10–11, 2022, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Sustainable Energy Council hosted the 2nd Hydrogen Americas Summit.[1]
Keynote speakers included
- Energy Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm
- Deputy Secretary David M. Turk
- Director of the DOE Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office Dr. Sunita Satyapal
- d National Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi, among others.
The summit also included a panel
- Moderated by Senior Advisor for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the Office of the Secretary Jeff Marootian
- Participation from DOE National Lab Directors
- Martin Keller (National Renewable Energy Laboratory)
