Wastren EnergX Mission Support, LLC (WEMS) is a joint venture between Wastren Advantage, Inc. and EnergX Inc.. The company was created to perform Facility Support Services at the US Department of Energy Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio. The current Facility Support Services contract began on March 16, 2010.
The Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant is located in south central Ohio near the village of Piketon. It is approximately 75 miles south of Columbus and 22 miles north of the Ohio River. The 3,777-acre site is managed by the U.S. Department of Energy and operated by DOE contractors.
